omg, you guys, have you heard the latest about call of duty: modern warfare 4? apparently, the beta is going to have low-sbmm playlists, which is kinda a big deal for players who've been complaining about the whole skill-based matchmaking thing for years. i mean, i'm not super into cod myself, but i know lots of people who are, and they've been saying that sbmm can make the game feel really stale and predictable.



so, basically, activision has been listening to all the feedback and they're introducing these "open playlists" where skill consideration is way reduced. it's already been tested in black ops 7, and people seem to really like it, so they're going to keep it around and even add it to modern warfare 4. i think it's really cool that they're open to changing things up and trying new approaches - it shows they're actually paying attention to what players want.



i'm also pretty intrigued by the new matchmaking system they're introducing in black ops 7. apparently, it's inspired by the older black ops games, and it's all about smarter team balancing and keeping matches full. it sounds like it could be a big improvement, and i'm curious to see how it all plays out. plus, with the modern warfare 4 beta coming up on august 21, we'll get to see how all these changes work together with the new gunplay and combat mechanics.
