omg, you guys, i just found out about bryce clark, the game director of poppy playtime, and he's literally a gaming genius. he's played a whopping 23,000 hours of steam games, which is just mind-blowing. i mean, i thought i was obsessed with gaming, but this dude takes it to a whole new level.

apparently, clark grew up playing dos games on his family pc, and his favorite childhood game was this old fantasy rts called dominus from 1994. he even shares this hilarious story about how his dad had to spend hours on the phone with tech support just to get the game working. i can totally relate to that, though - there's nothing worse than when you're dying to play a game and it just won't cooperate.

anyway, clark's been a game developer for 20 years now, and he's worked with some pretty big studios like 343 industries and blizzard. he's currently the game director for poppy playtime, and he's all about finding ways to improve gameplay flow and make the experience more compelling. i'm really interested to see how he's going to take the game forward, especially since the latest chapter just released in february.
