so i was browsing through steam the other day, looking for something a bit different to play, and i stumbled upon this super retro-looking game called bounce 2. it's supposed to be a sequel to some old atari 2600 game from 1983, also called bounce, that was meant to be a "pong killer". but here's the thing - i'm pretty sure that game never actually existed.

i did some digging, and it seems that there was a game called bounce that came out in 1983, but it was for the bbc micro, not the atari 2600. and from what i can find, that game is actually lost to time. so yeah, i'm calling it - i think the whole "bounce 2 is a sequel to a classic game" thing is just a clever marketing ploy. and you know what? it worked on me, because now i'm really interested in checking out bounce 2.

i've got to say, the game looks really cute, and the fact that you can customize the graphics to look like an old crt monitor is a total win in my book. i mean, who doesn't love a bit of crt glow and scanlines, right? and the best part is, you canRead more: Full article on www.rockpapershotgun.com
