so i just heard about the latest world of warcraft patch and i'm still trying to wrap my head around it. basically, blizzard tried to buff my favorite spec, outlaw rogue, but it's been a bit of a mess. i've been playing this spec since dragonflight and i love the fast-paced gameplay, but it's been a bit underpowered lately.

i was excited to see some changes, but what we got is kind of... weird. there's a new talent called cloud cover that drops a huge smoke bomb when you activate adrenaline rush, which is pretty cool in theory. it's got a chance to apply a damage debuff to enemies, which sounds awesome. but here's the thing: the smoke bomb is huge and it makes it really hard to see what's going on.

i mean, we all know the number one rule of wow: don't stand in the fire. but how are you supposed to do that when there's a giant cloud of smoke covering everything? it's just asking for trouble. and if you're playing with a group, you've got to ask them to be super patient and just deal with the fact that you're going to be throwing down smoke bombs left and right. it's just not ideal.
i do have to say, though, that the idea behind cloud cover is kind of cool. i love the idea of throwing down a smoke bomb and doing a bunch of damage from within it. it's like something out of a movie or a book. but in practice, it's just not working out. i'm hoping blizzard will take another look at this and figure out a way to make it work without making it so frustrating to play.

preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not sure if i'd recommendRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
