i'm not gonna lie, my first reaction was that it's kinda harsh that the dev got fired over it. i mean, it's just a game, right? but at the same time, i get why blizzard would take it seriously. world of warcraft is one of those games where people pour their hearts and souls into being good at it, and cheating can be a major buzzkill. plus, it's not like the dev was just giving their friends a little nudge - they were straight up using forbidden spells to get an unfair advantage.
