so, you guys heard about the latest world of warcraft patch, right? it's been a total mess, with bugs everywhere and some pretty weird design choices. i mean, who gives a class a new ability that makes it harder for everyone to not stand in the fire? it's like, what are you even doing, blizzard?

anyway, the patch, 12.0.5, has been out for a bit now, and it's been flooded with complaints from players. and honestly, it's not like we didn't see it coming - a lot of these issues were brought up on the public test realm weeks ago. but, you know, sometimes it feels like blizzard just doesn't listen, or they're not testing things properly, or something. it's frustrating, because we know they can do better.

but, to their credit, blizzard has apologized for the mess. they put up a post on the game's site saying that the patch launch didn't meet their standards, and that they know it's caused a lot of frustration for players. they're saying that they've been working around the clock to fix the biggest issues, and that they're taking lessons from this launch to try and prevent it from happening again in the future. which, you know, is good to hear, i guess.
