omg, you guys, i just heard the craziest thing about destiny 2 - apparently, there was a time when bungie was actually considering making a destiny dating sim. like, can you even imagine? it's not like they just joked about it either, they actually had a proper pitch deck and everything. i'm both confused and intrigued by this, and i kind of wish they had gone through with it just to see how it would've turned out.

i mean, think about it - a dating sim set in the destiny universe could've been really cool. just imagine being able to romance your favorite characters, or even creating your own character and navigating the complexities of guardian relationships. it's a weirdly fascinating idea, and i'm a little sad that it never came to be. but at the same time, i can see why it might not have been the best fit for the destiny franchise, which is mostly known for its action-packed gameplay and epic storylines.

anyway, it's not like bungie is working on a dating sim now or anything. in fact, it seems like they're done with destiny 2 for good, and there aren't any plans for a destiny 3 in the works. which is kind of sad, because i know a lot of people who are really going to miss playing destiny 2. but hey, at least we got to experience it while it lasted, right? and who knows, maybe someday bungie will surprise us with a weird spinoff game that we never saw coming.
