omg, you guys, beamng.drive just got its biggest update yet and i am totally stoked. for those who don't know, beamng.drive is like this amazing car game on steam that's all about vehicular destruction physics - think smashing into things and watching the metal crumple and the glass shatter. it's so satisfying.

the new update, version 0.39, brings some sweet graphical improvements. they've overhauled the shadows and sunlight, so it looks way more realistic now. and get this - they've added volumetric clouds and a physically-based night sky that's based on real astronomical values. it's crazy - the sky even changes depending on the time of day and your location in the game. it's like, whoa.

but it's not just about looks - the update also brings some new features and improvements. the pause menu has been revamped, making it easier to navigate with a controller, and the photo mode has its own new ui. and, of course, there's a new car - the cherrier ardente, a sporty coupe that's perfect for rallying or drifting. i'm not sure if it's my fave, though - i still love the retro vibes of the stambecco and the elegance of the pigeon.
