so i just heard about the next big update for battlefield 6, and i'm kinda excited. it's called high-value target and it's dropping on june 30th, which is pretty soon. this update is going to bring a bunch of new stuff to the game, including a new event called wet work.

from what i understand, wet work is all about contracts, which are like little challenges that you can pick up during a match. they're dropped by players who get eliminated, and then you can grab them and try to complete the challenge. it sounds like it could be pretty fun, but it also seems kinda familiar. apparently, it's similar to this old call of duty: ghosts mechanic called field orders, where you'd pick up a briefcase icon and get a temporary challenge to complete.

i'm not sure how i feel about battlefield 6 borrowing ideas from other games, but at the same time, it's not like this is a bad idea or anything. the field orders thing was actually pretty cool in call of duty: ghosts, so maybe it'll work out well in battlefield 6 too. and who knows, maybe they'll put their own spin on it and make it even better. we'll just have to wait and see, i guess.
one thing that i am looking forward to is the new event menu that's coming with this update. apparently, it's going to make it way easier to track all the different events and challenges in the game, which is something that's been needed for a while now. and it's not just about making things more organized - the new menu will also show off event-exclusive modes, which sounds like a lot of fun.

there are some other changes coming to the game too, like tweaks to gunplay and vehiclesRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
