omg, you guys, battlefield 6 is finally getting the gunplay overhaul we've all been waiting for. like, it's about time, right? the developers have been listening to our feedback since launch, and it's clear they're trying to turn things around. next week, on june 30, we can expect some major changes to hit the game.

so, what's changing? for starters, all the guns are going to feel different now. they're ditching that annoying random bullet deviation and introducing more predictable recoil patterns for each gun. this means we'll actually have to learn how to use each gun properly, instead of just spraying and praying. and, to encourage us to fire in bursts or tap fire, the guns will have a greater spread when we hold the trigger down. plus, bullet velocity is being decreased, which should make things a bit more realistic.

i'm super stoked about the introduction of limb damage, though. it's something we've been asking for, like, forever. now, shooting someone in the arm or leg will deal less damage, so we'll need to be more precise to take people down quickly. but, to balance things out, headshots are going to be even more rewarding. this change is going to make a big difference at longer ranges, where we'll need to be way more accurate to take people out. close-range combat should stay pretty much the same, though.

snipers are also getting some love, with changes to make them more unique. apparently, the one-hit kill range for most snipers was too generous, so they're tweaking that. and, in the future, we can expect even more changes to vehicle play, gadgets, and other core aspects of the game. it's all part of the developerRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
