omg, guys, it's been three whole years since baldur's gate 3 dropped, and the devs just released some wild stats about how we've been playing the game. like, did you know that non-dark urge players are actually more likely to kill off certain npcs than dark urge players? i mean, i thought for sure it would be the other way around, but i guess that just shows how twisted we can be.

so, apparently, this one npc named zevlor from the druid's grove is the most killed story character in the game, and i can kinda see why - he's pretty argumentative, after all. but what's really interesting is that more non-dark urge players have killed off this other character, alfira, than dark urge players. that's crazy, because dark urge players are literally forced to kill her off at some point, whereas non-dark urge players have to make a conscious choice to do so.

i also love that the devs shared some stats on the most popular weapons used in the final battle. the gontr mael bow is basically the clear winner, with over 33 million players choosing to use it - and i can see why, since it's just so ridiculously powerful. i mean, who wouldn't want a bow that hits hard, hastens you, and has a chance to cast a super useful spell? it's no surprise that it's the top choice, but it's still funny to think about just how many people are running around with this thing.
