omg, you guys, have you heard about the drama going on with ubisoft barcelona, the studio behind assassin's creed black flag resynced? apparently, they're on a three-day strike to protest some pretty harsh layoffs. i mean, i get that the gaming industry can be tough, but it's crazy to see a studio that just launched a super successful game facing such major issues.

so, a bit about the game - assassin's creed black flag resynced has been killing it on steam, with the best launch of any ac game ever. it's making a ton of money, which is pretty impressive. i've been playing it myself, and i have to say, the hunting and harpooning mechanics are so much fun. and if you're struggling to find all the animal locations, don't worry, there are some great guides out there to help you out. plus, the ship upgrades are seriously cool, and there are some legendary ships to discover too.

but anyway, back to the strike - it's pretty sad to see the devs going through this, especially after such a successful launch. and to make matters worse, the game was actually unplayable for a bit when ubisoft connect went down, despite having an offline mode. i mean, what's the point of an offline mode if the game still needs to be connected to the servers to work? it's just weird. and on a related note, ubisoft recently came under fire for claiming that microtransactions make games more fun, which is just... no.

despite all the drama, assassin's creed black flag resynced is still a great game, and if you haven't checked it out yet, you should definitely give it a try. it opened with 2 million sales on launch dayRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
