so, you've probably heard about the whole memory crisis thing that's been affecting the gaming world. basically, it's getting super tough for companies to get their hands on the components they need to make consoles and other gaming hardware. but, playstation just announced that they've managed to stockpile enough ram to meet ps5 demand until march 2027, which is kinda a big deal.



i'm pretty stoked to hear that playstation is feeling confident about their sales, especially with all the awesome games coming out in the next few months. i mean, we've got some huge titles like gta 6 and marvel's wolverine on the horizon, and i'm sure those are going to fly off the shelves. plus, even though the ps5 price has gone up recently, i don't think that's going to stop people from buying it. i know i'm still saving up for one, haha.



it's interesting to see how playstation's plans have changed, though. earlier this year, they were saying that ps5 sales might decline because of the memory crisis, but now they seem to be thinking that they'll be able to keep up with demand. of course, this is all just for the next year or so - after march 2027, it's anyone's guess what's going to happen. other companies like steam and microsoft are already struggling to keep up with the memory crisis, so we'll just have to wait and see how playstation does in the long run.
