omg, you guys, have you heard about over the hill? it's this super cool off-roading exploration game from the same studio that made art of rally, and i am totally stoked. they just dropped a new trailer that shows off a gorgeous new area to explore, and it's got me so hyped.

so, the new trailer gives us a sneak peek at the algeria biome, which looks absolutely breathtaking. i mean, we're talking sweeping plateaus, ancient ruins, and even fallen meteorites - it's like a dream come true for anyone who loves exploring the great outdoors. and the best part? you can explore all this with a friend in co-op play, which is perfect for when you need a little help getting out of sticky situations.

the trailer also announced that there's an alpha playtest coming up on april 24th-26th, and you can sign up for it right now. i'm definitely going to throw my hat into the ring, because i need to get my hands on this game asap. the playtest is going to be on steam, and applications close on april 16th, so don't wait too long if you're interested.
i've been following over the hill since it was announced last year, and i have to say, it's looking better and better with each new update. the game is all about exploring real-world locations in vintage 4x4 vehicles, and it just sounds like so much fun. plus, the fact that it's got two-player co-op is a total bonus - i can already imagine playing it with my friends and family.

preorders are available at major retailers, but there's no official release date just yet. apparently, it's still on track to come out this yearRead more: Full article on www.eurogamer.net
