omg, you guys, have you heard about arkheron? it's this super cool competitive pvpve action rpg that's about to drop its closed beta next week. i'm talking isometric gameplay, squad-based battles, and a whole lot of climbing a tower in the afterlife - yeah, it sounds kinda wild, but trust me, it's got my attention.

so, the gameplay is divided into two main parts: exploring floors with your squad, fighting and looting, and then showdown arenas that honestly remind me of those old-school battlerite vibes. you'll be fighting against other players, and if you come out on top, you get to ascend to the next level - it's all about reaching the top of that tower, and i am so here for it.

i love how the devs, bonfire studios, have been experimenting with the camera system - they started out with a point-and-click style, but it wasn't really working, so they switched it up to a rotatable camera that adds this whole new level of sound awareness and strategic play. it's like they're blending extraction-shooter elements with this top-down view, and i'm curious to see how it all comes together.
the closed beta is running from july 15 to 26, and it's basically a test to see how the game holds up with a bigger player base. if you're interested in joining in, you can sign up through the game's steam page or wait for an invite if you're already on the steam and firstlook waitlists. and, fun fact, if you do get invited, you can bring three friends along for the ride - how cool is that?

now, i know some of you are probably wondering about the different game modes - well,Read more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
