so i just heard that arc raiders has finally gotten its matchmaking update, and i'm kinda stoked about it. basically, the devs over at embark have been working on making the game's matchmaking system way more intelligent, so you can get matched with players who are actually on the same page as you. this means that if you're a total solo player who loves to go crazy, you can still get paired with other solo folks who are just as into it as you are.



one thing to note, though, is that this new system might make you wait a bit longer in queues. apparently, the algorithm is working harder to find you a better match, which is pretty cool, but also means you might be twiddling your thumbs for a bit longer. i'm not sure how i feel about this, to be honest - on the one hand, i love the idea of getting matched with people who are into the same playstyle as me, but on the other hand, i hate waiting around for ages.
