omg, you guys, i just heard that arc raiders is finally fixing its trials mode, and i am so here for it. for those who don't know, trials are basically a set of weekly challenges where you try to get high scores to rank up and unlock unique outfits. sounds cool, right? but the thing is, it's been super frustrating and feels like a chore, with bland objectives and strict schedules.

i mean, i've seen people complaining that it's ruining the game, but honestly, i just ignored it and played the game however i wanted. anyway, the devs, embark, just announced that they're making some big changes to trials with season 4, which starts on april 29. one of the coolest changes is that trials will now start earlier, so we'll have more time to play and climb the leaderboard without feeling rushed.

apparently, the devs are all about removing unnecessary restrictions and making the game more fun. so, they're getting rid of the double points reward for major map conditions, which might sound bad at first, but it actually means we'll have more freedom to play how we want. we won't be forced to grind specific maps or conditions just to get the best rewards. and, they're reworking or removing trial challenges that were tied to specific map conditions, which is a huge relief.
