so i just heard about the latest updates to arc raiders and i'm kinda stoked. basically, the game's been getting some pretty cool changes, like a new crafting system that's supposed to be way more streamlined. i mean, who doesn't love a good crafting system, right? it's like, one of the best parts of any game.



apparently, the devs have been listening to player feedback and are trying to address some of the major complaints. like, have you ever been in the middle of a game and some super geared player joins in and just destroys everything? yeah, that's not fun. so, the new flashpoint update is supposed to fix that by matching players with others who are around the same level. seems like a no-brainer, but i guess it's not always easy to implement.



one thing that caught my eye was the whole thing with the ai voices. so, apparently the ceo of embark studios was like, "yeah, we're re-recording all the ai lines with real actors because, let's be real, it's just better." and i'm like, same, dude. there's just something about ai voices that's always a bit off. but anyway, it's cool that they're taking the time to do it right.

i also saw that there was some pretty serious bug that exposed players' private discord messages and stuff. that's like, super not cool. but the devs are on it and are working with discord to fix it and add some extra protections. so, that's good to hear. i mean, who wants their private convos being shared with the world, right?
