omg, you guys, sony is at it again. so, there's this new game called marvel tōkon that's supposed to be released on pc, but apparently, it's not going to be available in over 100 countries due to some psn restrictions. like, what even is that? it's not like it's the first time they've done something like this, either. remember when they added a psn requirement to helldivers 2 after launch and it became unplayable in a ton of countries?

i'm seriously confused as to why sony keeps doing this. don't they know that it's just going to upset their fans? i mean, marvel tōkon is a pretty hyped game, especially in the fighting game community, and now people in countries like pakistan and morocco won't be able to play it. it's just so frustrating. and to make matters worse, sony still hasn't lifted the region restrictions on some of their other pc ports, like god of war ragnarok and spider-man 2.

anyway, if you do live in a country where marvel tōkon is available, you can look forward to an open beta on pc and ps5 from july 24 to 26. the beta will feature some pretty cool characters, including blade, ghost rider, and deadpool. i'm not sure how i feel about the whole team though - it seems a bit random. but hey, at least we get to see some of the gameplay before the full release, right?

preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not sure if it's worth it considering all the drama surrounding the game's availability. i guess we'll just have to wait and see how sony decides to handle thisRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
