omg, you guys, i just heard that marvel's blade is still happening, despite all the rumors about xbox closures and stuff. i know, i was super worried too, since we hadn't heard anything about it in ages. but todd howard from bethesda just came out and said that arkane is doing an amazing job on the game.



i'm so relieved, because i was really looking forward to playing blade. i mean, who doesn't love a good vampire game, right? and arkane is an awesome studio, they've made some of my fave games in the past. but with all the changes happening at xbox, i was starting to think that blade might be cancelled or something. thankfully, that doesn't seem to be the case, at least not yet.



apparently, todd howard saw some of the latest work on blade in may and was really impressed. he said that the folks at arkane are doing a "really, really great job" on the game, which is awesome to hear. i'm not sure when we'll get to see more of the game, but at least we know it's still in development. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as excited as i am, you can go ahead and reserve your copy.

it's kind of weird, though, because even though todd howard is saying that everything is fine, there are still rumors that arkane might be in trouble. like, what's going on with xbox, right? they're closing studios and cancelling games left and right, so it's hard to know what to believe. but for now, at least, it seems like blade is still on track, and that's all that matters to me.
