so, destiny 2 just dropped its final update and i'm still trying to wrap my head around it. the biggest news for me is that they've added 26 new catalysts to the game, which is basically a dream come true for anyone who loves exotic weapons. i mean, every single exotic gun now has an upgrade, which is just insane.



i've been digging through the list of new catalysts and i have to say, some of them are total game changers. like, have you seen the new catalyst for riskrunner? it adds chain reaction explosions, which is just perfect for clearing out adds. and then there's the last word, which is now basically a gunslinger's dream come true. i'm definitely going to be using that one a lot more often now.



one thing that's really stood out to me is how much these new catalysts are going to change the way we play the game, especially when it comes to boss dps. i mean, anarchy and divinity now apply jolt, which is just insane for taking down bosses. and then there's the lament, which applies scorch and opens up bosses to extra damage. it's going to be so much fun to play around with these new catalysts and figure out the best ways to use them.
