omg, you guys, i am so hyped for the blood of dawnwalker right now. it's this super ambitious rpg from some of the people who worked on the witcher 3, and it's all about being a vampire - but not just any vampire, one that's human by day and a bloodsucking monster by night. i mean, can you even imagine how cool that would be?

i've been following this game since it was first announced, and i have to say, it just keeps getting more and more interesting. the devs are talking about this huge, open world where you can approach quests in any order you want, and your choices will actually change the story. like, can you imagine playing through the same game twice and having it be completely different each time? that's some serious replay value right there.

so, the big news is that we finally have a release date - september 3, to be exact. i'm so glad it's not going to be coming out too close to gta 6, because let's be real, that game is going to be huge. but with the blood of dawnwalker dropping a couple of months before, we should have plenty of time to play through it and get our fill before rockstar's game takes over the gaming world.

i'm also really curious to learn more about the historical authenticity in the game - apparently, the devs have put a lot of effort into making the world feel like it's really lived in. and, of course, there are the morally grey vampire overlords, which sound like they're going to be super intriguing. preorders are available at major retailers, so if you're as excited as i am, you can go ahead and reserve your copy now.
