ok, so you guys know how huge resident evil requiem has been, right? it's like, the biggest thing in gaming right now, and director zach cregger is feeling the pressure to deliver with his upcoming movie reboot. he joked that fans might totally "crucify" him if it doesn't live up to the resident evil hype, which is pretty fair considering how passionate the fanbase is.

i've been seeing a lot of chatter about the new resident evil requiem patch that just dropped, and it's got a pretty cool photo mode feature that everyone's been waiting for. it's awesome to see capcom listening to fan feedback and adding in features that people actually want. and speaking of cool features, have you guys heard about the voice acting for "the girl" in resident evil requiem? apparently, the actress found her creepy voice by drinking gallons of milk while recording, which is just... wow.

capcom's been making some big promises lately, like how they're going to keep delivering "wonderful experiences" for resident evil fans, but they're being super coy about what that actually means or when we can expect it. and then there's the whole thing with nvidia's dlss 5 makeover of resident evil requiem, which got a lot of people riled up. capcom's come out and said that they won't be using gen-ai assets in their games anytime soon, which is probably a good thing considering how much backlash there was.
