so i just heard about the whole drama surrounding resident evil requiem and the new ai-powered makeover for grace ashcroft. apparently, the director is saying that all the fan criticism actually means they "got her design right", which is kinda wild if you ask me. i mean, i haven't played the game myself, but i've seen some of the pics and vids online, and i can see why people are divided about it.

anyway, that's not all that's been going on in the resident evil universe. there's a new game mode out now that's free to download, and from what i've seen, it looks totally insane. like, bloody chaos, you know? i'm not even kidding, it looks like a total blast to play. and the best part is, it's available for anyone to try out, so if you're a fan of the series, you should definitely check it out.

i also stumbled upon some rumors about a datamine that suggests resident evil requiem was almost going to have a merchant character, kind of like the one in resi 4. that would've been so cool, in my opinion. i love the idea of having a character like that in the game, it would've added a whole new layer of strategy and exploration. but i guess it wasn't meant to be, at least not this time around.
