omg, you guys, remember that extraction shooter marauders from like, two years ago? it was supposed to be this big thing, with its dieselpunk spaceships and all, and i have to admit, i was kinda drawn in by its super cool vibe. but then, out of nowhere, the devs just stopped updating it, and we all thought it was pretty much dead in the water.

i mean, it's not like it was a bad game or anything - in fact, it had a pretty strong start, with a lot of players on steam and all. but after a while, the updates just stopped coming, and the last big one was back in august 2024. so, naturally, we all thought that was it, and the game was just gonna fade away into obscurity. but, as it turns out, the devs were actually still working on it, just really quietly, and they've just announced a huge overhaul of the game.

apparently, they've been reworking the core systems and rebuilding some of the mechanics, which is pretty cool, i guess. it's not just a patch or a small update, but a full-on reboot of the game, which is kinda exciting. i mean, i'm not sure what to expect from it, but i'm definitely curious to see how it all turns out. and, from what i can tell, a lot of other people are too - there are already like, eleven pages of comments on the steam post, and it's only been a few hours.
