i started thinking about how much ram i used to need for my old gaming pc, and it's funny because back then, 2 or 4 gb was considered a lot. now, we're talking about 16 or 32 gb being the norm, which is just insane. the article mentions that in 2007, a 4 gb ram kit would cost around $100, which was considered a good deal. and if you wanted to go for a more standard 2 gb kit, you could get it for around $60.
