so i just heard about this new feature called pc insights that's being added to microsoft copilot, and i'm kinda torn about it. on the one hand, it sounds super helpful - it can analyze your system hardware and tell you what's slowing down your pc, which is awesome for people like me who aren't exactly tech experts. it can even answer questions like how much cpu usage you're currently using or if your antivirus is running.

but on the other hand, i just found out that the copilot app itself is a total ram hog, which seems kinda ironic. i mean, if you're using it to find out what's slowing down your pc, it might just be the app itself that's taking up all your precious ram space. apparently, it can use up to 1 gb of system ram, which is pretty crazy. i can see how that would be a problem for people with lower-end pcs or those who are already running low on ram.

i guess the feature is still pretty useful, even if it's not perfect. it's currently rolling out to copilot users in the us, and i'm curious to see how it works in practice. i just wish they could find a way to make it less resource-intensive, you know? it's not like we all have tons of extra ram just lying around. and it's not just copilot - i've noticed that other web-based apps like whatsapp can be total ram-suckers too.

preorders are available at major retailers, by the way. i'm not sure if i'll be checking out copilot anytime soon, but it's definitely interesting to see how it develops. i just hope they can iron out some of the kinks and make it more efficient, because it's got a lot of potentialRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
