omg, you guys, i just found out about this super weird but kinda intriguing game called sweet hamster days. it's a japanese visual novel where you play as a hamster who's the pet of three sisters, and apparently, it's getting re-released on steam. i'm both curious and a bit hesitant about it, but i'll get into that in a bit.



so, sweet hamster days was originally supposed to come out last winter, but it got pulled from steam due to some unknown reasons. the devs didn't really explain what happened, but it's back now with a new release window set for q3 this year. it's not just coming to steam, though - you'll also be able to grab it on the epic games store and dlsite. preorders are available at major retailers, if you're interested.



from what i've gathered, the game is basically a live-action romance sim where you try to help the three sisters get along using your, uh, hamster skills. it's got a pretty weird premise, but i guess that's part of its charm. the thing that's got me a bit wary, though, is the warning about "frequent nudity or sexual content". like, i'm not sure what to expect from this game, but i'm guessing it's not going to be a super wholesome experience.



i have to admit, i was kinda hoping for a more chill, laid-back game where you just get to be a hamster and do hamster stuff. i mean, who wouldn't want to just eat, sleep, and play all day? but instead, it seems like sweet hamster days is going to have a romantic angle, and you'll get to "fall in love" with one of the sisters.Read more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
