so, you guys heard about dlss 5, right? it's this new tech from nvidia that's supposed to make games look way better, but it's also been pretty divisive. i mean, i've seen some people totally freak out about it, while others are just kinda meh. our team's been all over the place too, which is pretty funny.

anyway, the pc gamer team decided to ask their readers if they could be convinced to use dlss 5, and the results are pretty interesting. apparently, 71% of people said no way, they'd never turn it on. which, honestly, isn't that surprising. but what is kinda surprising is that 37% of those people said it's not just about how it looks - they're actually opposed to it on principle. like, they don't care if it makes the game look amazing, they still won't use it.

i kinda get where they're coming from, i guess. i mean, if you're really invested in the whole "no fancy tech" vibe, then maybe dlss 5 just isn't for you. but at the same time, i think it's hard to say no to something that could potentially make your games look way better. especially if it's a game that's going for that super realistic look. like, i've seen some screenshots of starfield and fc26, and they do look pretty cool with dlss 5 turned on.

on the other hand, there are some people who are totally on board with dlss 5. like, 10% of readers said they're already convinced and can't wait to try it out. and another 9% said they'd use it in certain games, which is kinda where i am tooRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
