omg, you guys, have you heard that king's bounty: the legend just got a major update? this game is like, super old - 18 years old, to be exact - but it's still so much fun. it's a strategy rpg that's kinda similar to heroes of might and magic, but with its own unique twists and quirks. one of the coolest things about it is that you can marry all sorts of weird and wonderful characters, like frogs and zombies. yes, you read that right.

i'm really stoked that the game's been updated for modern pcs, because now we can play it in widescreen without those annoying black bars on the side. the ui's also been improved, which makes it way easier to navigate and read. and, of course, there are all the usual steam features like achievements and trading cards. i'm not gonna lie, i'm a total sucker for achievements - it's so satisfying to earn them and level up. the game also has a points shop, which is pretty cool.

one of the coolest things about this update, though, is the steam workshop. it's basically a platform where players can create and share their own mods for the game. right now, there's only one mod available, but i'm hoping that more people will start creating their own content soon. the mod that's available right now actually reverts one of the ui changes, so if you prefer the original fonts, you can switch back to those. i'm kinda curious to see what other mods people will come up with, though.

if you're interested in checking out king's bounty: the legend, now's a great time to do so. the game's on sale on steam, and you can get it for 85% offRead more: Full article on www.pcgamer.com
