Los Santos has one of those weeks where it pays to stop messing about and actually make a plan. Rockstar's Motor Madness event runs through May 27, and it's aimed squarely at players who care about cars, cash, and the LS Car Meet grind. If you've been building your garage, tuning racers, or even comparing progress with friends who use GTA 5 Modded Accounts, this event gives you plenty to chase without feeling like every job is a slog. The big draw is simple: better payouts, easier reputation gains, and a few free style pieces just for taking part.

Free gear worth grabbing
The easiest reward this week is the Rockstar Helmet. You don't need to win anything or spend hours in a lobby. Just log in while the event is active and it's yours. There are a couple of extra clothing rewards too, but those need a purchase. Pick up any vehicle from Simeon's Premium Deluxe Motorsport and you'll unlock the Rockstar Racing Suit. Buy a car from Luxury Autos and the LS Customs Varsity Jacket gets added to your rewards list. Don't panic if the clothes don't show up straight away. These bonus items can take up to 72 hours to appear, which is annoying, but pretty normal for GTA Online.

The Car Meet is the main attraction
If you've ignored the Los Santos Car Meet because of the entry cost, this is the week to walk in. Membership is free during the event, and once you're inside, the reputation boost is hard to ignore. LS Car Meet Reputation is paying out at 5X, which makes a real difference if you're trying to unlock trade prices, liveries, wheels, or tuning options. It's also a good excuse to run races you might usually skip. The LS Car Meet Series is paying double GTA$ and RP, so even a few decent sessions can stack up nicely.

Races, contracts, and quick money
The Weekly Challenge is tied to the Car Meet too. Win two LS Car Meet Series races and you'll get the Bright Manor Racing Suit, plus a GTA$100,000 bonus. That's not a bad reward for something many players will already be doing for the reputation boost. Auto Shop owners also get a strong reason to log in. Robbery Contracts are paying double this week, so jobs like The Union Depository Contract are suddenly much more tempting. If you prefer short bursts of gameplay, RC Time Trials and Junk Energy Time Trials are also doubled. GTA+ members get an even better deal on Junk Energy Time Trials, with rewards pushed up to 4X.

Smart buys before the reset
The discounts are useful rather than random, which is always nice. Garage properties are 40% off, making it a good time to stop cramming cars into whatever space you've got left. The Emperor Vectre and Rapid GT are also 40% off, and both fit the mood of the week well. Players who care more about tuning than buying fresh rides should look at the 50% discounts on Benny's upgrades, HSW upgrades, turbo tuning, and tire smoke. If you're managing multiple builds or browsing GTA 5 Accounts for a different start, this is the kind of event week where planning your garage actually matters. Don't leave it too late, because once May 27 passes, these bonuses are gone.
