omg, you guys, have you heard that a bunch of games are getting removed from xbox game pass super soon? like, at the end of the month, eight games are just gonna vanish from the service. i'm kinda sad about it, since some of these games are actually really cool.

i was browsing through the xbox mobile app and saw that they've got a "leaving soon" tab, which is pretty handy for keeping track of what's on its way out. apparently, games like celeste, whiskerwood, and crusader kings 3 are all getting the boot on july 31. it's not all bad news, though - if you're a game pass subscriber, you can still grab these games at a 20% discount before they disappear.

i guess it's just the way game pass works, with microsoft constantly adding and removing games from the service. this month is actually pretty crazy, since they already removed 11 games on july 15, and now another eight are leaving soon. it's like, i get that they need to make room for new games and all, but it's still kinda annoying when you get attached to something and then it just gets taken away.

on the bright side, there are some new games coming to game pass before the end of the month, like halo: campaign evolved on july 28. i'm not super into halo, but i know some of you guys are, so that's def something to look forward to. and hey, at least we can all still grab those games that are leaving soon at a discount, which is pretty sweet. preorders are available at major retailers, so you can get ready to buy your faves before they're gone for good.
