so, have you guys noticed that it's been super quiet on the fortnite leak front lately? i mean, we're only two weeks away from chapter 7 season 3, and usually by now we've got a ton of info about what's coming up. but not this time - it's been radio silence. i'm kind of surprised, to be honest, since leaks are just a normal part of the fortnite cycle at this point.
i think part of the reason for the lack of leaks is what happened with adira, a pretty prominent leaker who was shut down by epic back in march. apparently, adira was a former contractor who had access to some pretty sensitive info, and epic wasn't happy about the leaks. since then, it's been a lot harder for leakers to get their hands on new info. i'm not really surprised that epic would crack down on leaks, but it's definitely changed the way we find out about new seasons and collaborations.
it's kind of nice, in a way, to not have everything spoiled for us before it's even announced. i mean, sometimes it feels like we know everything that's going to happen in a new season before it even drops, and that can be a bit of a buzzkill. but at the same time, i'm curious to know what's coming up in season 3 - are we going to see some new collaborations? will there be any big changes to the gameplay? i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
