omg, you guys, i'm literally freaking out right now - there's a rumor going around that naughty dog might be working on uncharted 5. i know, i know, it's been ages since we last saw nathan drake's adventures in uncharted 4: a thief's end back in 2016. but, apparently, a super cryptic post from one of the devs has everyone talking.
so, basically, shaun escayg, the creative director at naughty dog, posted this really vague photo on instagram a while back. it's just a picture of a cannon in some tropical place, and all he said was "research" in the caption. at first, it didn't seem like a big deal, but now people are going crazy trying to figure out what it means. some fans think he might have been to this old fort in trinidad and tobago, called fort george, to do some research for a new uncharted game.
i have to admit, the more i think about it, the more it kind of makes sense. i mean, fort george does have a pretty cool history - apparently, merchants used to store all their valuable stuff there, which sounds like the perfect setup for an uncharted game. but, at the same time, it's also possible that escayg was just messing with us, or that the post doesn't mean anything at all. i guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.
