omg, you guys, twitch is trying out this new thing that lets you play games right in your browser. it's called game lift, and i am so down to see where this goes. basically, it's a feature that lets you try out a game without having to download or install anything, which is perfect for people like me who are always curious about new games but don't want to commit to a full download.

so, the way it works is that twitch has partnered with some game devs to offer demos of their games that you can play right on the twitch website. right now, there's only one game available to try, which is this demo for a game called reanimal. it's only 20 minutes long, but still, it's a great way to get a feel for the game and see if you like it. and the best part is, you don't need any special hardware or software to play it - just a decent internet connection and a desktop computer.
