omg, you guys, the tomodachi life demo is out and i am literally obsessed with the character creator. i mean, it's not like we haven't seen character creators before, but there's something about this one that's just so much fun. maybe it's the fact that you can carry your creations over to the full game when it comes out, but whatever it is, fans are already going wild with it.
i've been seeing so many amazing (and hilarious) characters popping up online, from marios to animal crossing villagers. it's crazy how much detail you can add to these little miis - people are getting really creative with them. and the best part is, the demo is available now, so you can start making your own characters and sharing them with friends. well, kind of sharing them - more on that in a minute.
so, about that sharing thing... nintendo is being super strict about what you can and can't post online, which is kinda annoying. i get that they want to keep things family-friendly, but it's hard not to want to show off your creations. apparently, the game's filters aren't tight enough, and nintendo is worried that people will make characters with, ahem, "inappropriate" names. which, let's be real, is probably going to happen anyway. still, it's not stopping people from finding ways to share their characters - they're just getting a little more creative about it.
