omg you guys, if you're a fan of titanfall like i am, you're in for a treat with this new game called empulse. it's from the same devs who made splitgate, which is basically a love letter to halo, and now they're giving titanfall some serious love too. i mean, the gameplay footage looks insane, with mechs and grappling hooks and all that good stuff.

so, i was a bit surprised to hear that the gunplay in empulse is actually more similar to splitgate (and by extension, halo) than titanfall. but hey, that's not a bad thing - it just means the devs are putting their own spin on things. and when it comes to movement and mechs, it's all very titanfall-esque, which is awesome. i mean, who doesn't love running around and punching robots with giant fists?

one thing that's pretty different from titanfall, though, is how you take down those mechs when you're on foot. instead of using special anti-mech guns, you get to wield a giant hammer, which is just so satisfying. i love that the devs are trying something new here, and it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. plus, the fact that there's no cash shop and the game is only $20 is a total win in my book.

preorders are available at major retailers, and the game is set to launch in early access on june 24 for ps5, xbox series x|s, and pc. and if you're eager to try it out before then, there's a demo coming to steam next fest on june 15, so be sure to check that out. i'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on thisRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
