so i just heard about this new diablo 4 novel called the lost horadrim and i'm super stoked. it's basically a prequel to the upcoming lord of hatred expansion, which is the second dlc for diablo iv. i've been following the hatred saga and i'm really eager to see how it all wraps up later this month. but before we get to that, let's talk about this novel - it's set in the same world, but it's going to dive deep into the past of sanctuary, which is the diablo universe.
i think what's really cool about the lost horadrim is that it's going to follow lorath and captain adreona of the amazons as they go on this adventure across skovos. i've heard it's going to have a lot of intense politics, which is something i really love about the diablo series - it's not just about hacking and slashing, there's actually a lot of depth to the world and its characters. and of course, there will be plenty of mythical monsters and undead abominations to slay, which is always a bonus.
from what i've gathered, the novel is written by matthew j. kirby and it's going to be released on april 21, 2026, for $30. preorders are available at major retailers, which is awesome because i'm definitely going to be picking up a copy. i've heard that the author has a really atmospheric writing style, which is perfect for a fantasy novel like this. i'm really looking forward to getting lost in the world of sanctuary and learning more about its history.
i think it's really cool that blizzard is exploring different ways to tell stories in the diablo universe, like with thisRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
