omg, you guys, there's finally some news about the live-action zelda movie. i've been waiting for this for, like, forever. apparently, sony pictures just announced that filming has wrapped up, which is a huge deal. this means they're moving on to the post-production phase, and hopefully, we'll get some sneak peeks soon.

i'm super curious about how this movie is going to turn out. the fact that they filmed on location in new zealand is pretty cool, especially since it's the same place where they shot the lord of the rings trilogy. i mean, those movies were amazing, so i'm hoping the zelda film will have a similar epic feel to it. we've already seen some pics of the cast, including bo bragason as zelda and benjamin evan ainsworth as link, and they look pretty promising.

one thing that's still a mystery is the plot of the movie. we know it's being directed by wes ball, who did the maze runner series, so that's a good sign. and there are rumors that dichen lachman from severance is playing impa, which would be awesome. i just wish we had more info about what the story is actually about. i guess we'll just have to wait and see. preorders are available at major retailers, so i'm guessing we'll get more updates soon.
