so, you guys know how ghost recon wildlands is basically the best in the series, right? well, ubisoft seems to agree, because they're celebrating the 25th anniversary of ghost recon with a huge update for wildlands. and by huge, i mean massive - we're talking a whole new mission, a visual overhaul, and tons of free customization items.

the update is called last rites, and it's available now for free, which is amazing. if you already own the game, you can just update and start playing - no need to buy it again on a new platform or anything. and the best part? it includes a brand new mission arc with a super creepy villain called la llorona. i've heard she's based on some kind of local legend, which is so cool.

one thing that's really got me excited is the return of the predator crossover mission. i mean, who doesn't love taking on a deadly alien hunter? it was originally released back in 2017, but it's been out of the game for a while, so it's great to see it back. and with the last rites update, the game is now playable in 4k and 60 frames per second on current-gen consoles, which is a total game-changer.
