one of the main points zelnick made was that lower-priced hardware would be super beneficial, because more people would be able to afford consoles and play their games. but, he also mentioned that the current state of tech has a bit of a silver lining - the world is moving towards more open systems, and that's going to change the game. literally. he talked about how pc gaming used to be a tiny fraction of sales, but now it's up to 50%, which is pretty crazy.

zelnick is also super into cloud streaming, and thinks it's going to be a major player in the gaming world within the next three years. like, we're talking low latency, commercial streaming - the whole nine yards. he believes this is going to open up gaming to so many more people, and i have to agree. i mean, who wouldn't want to play their favorite games without having to shell out for an expensive console? it's all about accessibility, you know?
