omg, you guys, i just heard that star trek: resurgence is getting delisted from some major platforms, which is pretty crazy considering it's not even three years old yet. i mean, i know licensing rights can be a total pain, but it's still super disappointing for fans of the game. i remember playing it on my friends' consoles and thinking it was such a cool take on the star trek universe.
so, basically, star trek: resurgence is no longer available to buy on steam or xbox, which is a bummer. but, if you're an epic games store, nintendo eshop, or playstation store user, you're still good to go - for now, at least. i'm not sure what's going on with the licensing rights, but it's clear that the publishers and devs are having some issues. the good news is that if you've already bought the game, you can still play it - you just won't be able to purchase it from those two platforms anymore.
i'm kinda surprised that this is happening so soon after the game's release, to be honest. it came out on the epic games store back in may 2023, and then made its way to steam a year later. it even hit playstation in late 2024 and nintendo switch in august 2025, so it's not like it's been out for ages or anything. preorders are available at major retailers, but i'm not sure how much longer that'll be the case. anyway, if you're a star trek fan and you haven't checked out star trek: resurgence yet, you might want to grab it while you still can.
i'm a bit sad about this, not gonna lie. i love playing narrative-focused games, and starRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
