so i just found out that the new spider-man movie, brand new day, got some major inspiration from the spider-man games - and i'm totally here for it. apparently, tom holland and the film's director, destin daniel cretton, are both big fans of the games and wanted to bring some of that action-packed magic to the big screen.

i love how the stunt performers in the film were all about those spider-man games too - they'd screenshot the coolest finishing moves and bring them to the writers' room to see if they could make it happen in real life. that's so dope. and it's not hard to see why they'd be inspired - the games are all about spider-man's slick web-slinging skills and his ability to take down enemies with style.

the spider-man games from insomniac are seriously awesome, and it's cool to see how they influenced the film. in the games, you can build up energy to pull off these epic finishers that just take out enemies in one hit - it's so satisfying. and now, with the launch of brand new day, we're getting some new spider-man 2 updates, including a fresh start costume from the movie. preorders are available at major retailers, by the way.

i'm really hyped to see brand new day when it hits theaters on july 31 - it's expected to be a huge blockbuster, with some analysts predicting it could make up to $190 million in north america alone. and globally, it could rake in a whopping $465 million in its opening weekend. that's some serious spider-man power right there. anyway, i'm stoked to see how the movie turns out and how those spider-man game influences play out on the big screen.Read more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
