omg, you guys, have you heard about samson: a tyndalston story? it's the first game from liquid swords, a new studio founded by christofer sundberg, who you might know from the just cause series. i was super stoked to try it out, but apparently, the launch has been kinda rocky. like, a lot of people are experiencing bugs and performance issues that are basically game-breaking.
i can understand why the devs are calling it "unacceptable" - i mean, who wants to play a game that just doesn't work right? the good news is that they're already working on a patch to fix all the problems. it's cool that christofer sundberg himself is talking about it and acknowledging the issues. he seems really proud of what his team has accomplished, and i can respect that. i mean, making a game is a ton of work, and it's not like they didn't try.
so, the patch is coming out this friday, april 10, and it's supposed to fix all the major issues. they're talking about performance issues, game crashes, and bugs that stop you from progressing - all the things that are basically ruining the experience for players right now. and, as a little bonus, the patch will also let players use up to eight save files, which is pretty cool. i'm guessing that's gonna be a big help for people who like to experiment with different playstyles or just want to have multiple saves going at the same time.
