omg, you guys, there's a new resident evil movie in the works and i am so down for it. the old movies, which were all about milla jovovich's character alice, were pretty meh if you ask me, but they did okay at the box office, raking in over a billion dollars worldwide. the last one, resident evil: welcome to raccoon city, was a total flop though, only making 42 million globally.

but anyway, the new movie is being directed by zach cregger, who's done some pretty cool horror stuff like barbarian. i've heard great things about that movie, so i'm hoping he'll bring some of that magic to the resident evil franchise. apparently, there was a big bidding war for the project, but sony pictures ended up winning out - which makes sense, since they've released all the other resident evil movies.

i have to say, i'm a bit skeptical about how this movie will turn out. the resident evil franchise has been around for a while, and it's had its fair share of ups and downs. but at the same time, i think cregger could be just the person to breathe some new life into the series. i'm keeping my fingersRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
