so, you guys know how pokemon pokopia is always coming out with these super cool events that let us hang out with our fave pokemon and score some limited edition goodies? well, they just dropped a new one that's all about bulbasaur, and i am totally here for it. it's called bulbasaur's jump rope contest, and it's literally the most adorable thing i've seen in a while.

anyway, the contest is live from april 19 to 26, and it starts and ends at 5 am in your local time, so make sure you set those alarms if you wanna get in on the action. i've already played a bit of jump rope with bulbasaur, but apparently the rewards are even better for this special event, which is a major plus in my book. if you're just starting out, don't worry - you can still join in on the fun, just make sure you're far enough in the game to be buddies with bulbasaur and have rebuilt the first pokemon center.

i think what i love most about these events is how they encourage us to really engage with the game and its world. like, sure, you can just rush through the story, but where's the fun in that? by participating in stuff like bulbasaur's jump rope contest, you get to experience all these little extras that make the game feel so much more immersive and magical. and let's be real, who doesn't love a good jump rope session with a cute bulbasaur?
