omg, you guys, have you heard that helldivers 2 is coming to playstation plus extra and premium in august? i'm so stoked, i've been eyeing this game for ages. it's all about bringing democracy to other planets, which sounds kinda cheesy, but trust me, it's so much fun. you get to run around with your friends, shooting aliens and blowing stuff up - what's not to love?

anyway, the game is set to hit the game catalog on august 12, and to celebrate, the devs are challenging the community to take down 500 million enemies by august 18. if we can do it, we'll unlock some sweet ps avatars, which is a pretty cool incentive if you ask me. and if you're already playing helldivers 2, you'll be happy to know that there's a new expansion dropping, called devoid of liberty. it's all about exploring the void, destroying some creepy spires and gateways, and taking on new threats.

i'm really excited to dive into this new content, and i love that it's coming to ps plus. it's such a great way to discover new games and play some awesome titles without breaking the bank. and speaking of new titles, we can expect more games to be announced for the august lineup soon. apparently, the new titles will be added to the game catalog throughout the month, so we'll have to keep an eye out for those.
