omg, you guys, have you heard about windrose? it's this super cool pirate game that's literally taking the gaming world by storm. i mean, i've seen it popping up all over my social media feeds and i just had to check it out. apparently, it's been doing amazingly well - the devs just announced that it's sold over 1 million copies, which is just insane.

i did some digging and found out that the game has also had a peak of over 220,000 players online at the same time on steam. that's a lot of pirates sailing the high seas, if you ask me. and get this - it's not just a one-time thing, either. the game has consistently been one of the top-selling games on steam, currently sitting at number one in the us and number two globally.

one thing that's really cool about windrose is that it's available on a few different platforms, including the epic games store and stove, in addition to steam. so, even though we're just talking about the steam numbers, there are probably a ton of other players out there who are just as obsessed with the game as the rest of us. i'm definitely curious to try it out and see what all the fuss is about.

preorders are available at major retailers, so if you haven't checked out windrose yet, now might be the time. i'm not sure what the price point is, but i'm guessing it's probably pretty reasonable considering how popular the game is. anyway, i just thought i'd share the news and see if any of you guys have played it yet - what do you think of windrose? is it living up to the hype?
