hey guys, so i just heard about this pretty wild new skin for pga tour 2k25 - it's a statue of liberty costume, and i'm not even kidding, it's kinda creepy. apparently it's to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the us declaration of independence, which is pretty cool, but i don't know if this skin is really the best way to do it.
so the skin is basically a golfing outfit version of the statue of liberty, complete with a mask and crown. i can see what they were going for, but it just looks really unsettling. i mean, i love a good patriotic vibe as much as the next person, but this is just too much. it's like they took the statue of liberty and put it in a horror movie or something.
if you're into this kind of thing, you can buy the skin using virtual currency in the pga tour superstore. individual items cost between 1,000 and 1,500 vc, while a full outfit can range from 4,000 to 6,000 vc. that's like, up to $50 in real money, which seems pretty steep to me. but hey, if you're really into customizing your golfer, i guess it might be worth it.
i'm not surprised that 2k games is charging money for this skin, though. they do it with all their games, and it seems like people are always willing to pay. i mean, preorders are available at major retailers, and they're already looking pretty healthy. it's just something to keep in mind if you're thinking about buying the game or any of the extra content.
overall, i'm not really sure what to think about this skin. it's definitely... unique,Read more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
