omg, you guys, i just heard about the most amazing tool for tomodachi life players - it's called living the grid, and it basically lets you turn any image into pixel art that you can use in the game. i'm totally obsessed with pixel art, and i know how hard it can be to create something that looks good, especially when you're working with a limited color palette.
so, this tool is basically a game changer - it's an in-browser thing that you can use for free, without even making an account. you just upload the image you want to use, and it maps it onto a grid that's identical to the one in the game's palette house custom pattern creator. it's so cool to see your favorite characters or images transformed into pixel art, and it's actually pretty easy to use too.
i love that the tool uses the game's built-in color palette by default, but you can also choose to extract colors from your image if you want. and, if you're feeling lazy, there's even a paint-by-numbers option that makes it super easy to recreate your image in-game. the tool also estimates how long it'll take you to fill in the pixels, which is kind of funny - i tried it with a logo, and it said it would take me like 6 minutes to recreate it, which really isn't that bad.
the only downside is that you still have to manually fill in the pixels in-game, which can be a bit tedious. but, honestly, it's way better than trying to freehand something and ending up with a mess. i'm definitely going to be playing around with this tool and seeing what kind of cool pixel art creations i can come up with. preorders aren't relevant here, since itRead more: Full article on www.gamespot.com
